20 x 24 Acrylic on Birch panel for "Unpredictable Gravity" show at Seattle's Roq la rue gallery.
Sorry for the poor quality photo… I'll update it later, if I can get a better one.
very nice work
i have been thinking of the writing in some of your paintings. is it the angel alphabet? or is it just random cool symbols or maby something else. i like it very mutch.
I use many esoteric symbols, languages and alphabets in my work. They all have specific meanings that relate in some way to the work. I like to keep it a bit of a mystery...for the viewer to ponder.
creepy and brilliant colors
Interesting - this reminds me of the style of Zdzislaw Beksinski. i really like this one, very cool indeed :'D
Thanks. I'm definitely a fan of Beksinski…but, I hope my work doesn't draw too heavily from that influence. I don't want to be another Zdzislaw Beksinski. I want to be who I am.
Thanks for looking, and taking the time to comment.
Oh haha I didn't mean to detract from your own style by the comparison! I'm sorry. This really is a great piece. I just had that particular artist in the back of my mind because I've been viewing a lot of his works lately (I'm strangely fascinated by the whole genre in general).
This is a wonderful piece. You should be proud of it :>
